In June 2013, I traveled to Italy and Greece.  My trip eventually took the form of a tour of the current and former Jewish communities.  But the most surprising and meaningful meeting was with the leader of the Jewish community in Corfu (with pictures).

In 2004, I traveled to Jordan with a couple of friends.  They both spoke a little Arabic and I was able to gain insight from them on our travels.  It was a strange trip and I wrote a 3-part essay on my experiences there.
